How I prepared for today's rehearsal

To prepare fro todays rehearsal i created a playlist on my music app to run through on my phone, planning to listen to that through earphones while playing along to that on the kit. I had used this plan once recently while preparing for my grade 3 exam and all went well.



What i was set out to achieve today

Today i was set out to achieve the ability to constantly play through every song perfectly without any problems or mistakes and mishaps. I felt to this i would have to make the most of the time and would be quite difficult but possible.

How successful today was

Todays rehearsal i feel didn't go too well as the drum kit i was put on was not great and the bass pedal seemed to be moving over the side while the pad was not moving and therefore I had to stop half way through the music to correct it.

Targets for next rehearsal

for the next rehearsal i need to focus on achieving the following targets...
- Play the outro of Fuel
- Ensure there are no mistakes throughout the pretender and cover any mistakes
- make sure the outro is perfect on  R U mine.

Achieving these targets is important to the overall progress of my goals because it means that my performance will turn out to be a professional performance.
